Fall Leaves Necklace

I'm excited about Fall! I've stayed away from making leaves in the past because I'm worried that a thin piece of polymer clay would break. However I think these are strong enough. The clay is thick around the hole in the top and then I thinned it out with my fingers around the edges so it gives the effect of being a thin leaf.

Anyone have a good technique for doing this?
